Rudy\'s horse is favored in the double and Pick 3 and taking money in the win pool.  I smell a rat here.

Sorry, I don\'t get your meaning. Do you think he\'s a winner or a bad favorite?

I was saying the horse was being over bet as a first time starter for no real apparent reason.  Had a very interesting trip around there to.  Broke fast, then dropped back to almost the rear, then rallied to just miss the place.  One to watch for later.

Speaking of bets, there was a LOT of late steam for the Finger Lakes runner in todays stake, won, impressively by the 9yo Moonlight Song. Only his 18 start , and the 9th win. Baker can train.

Left the gate running and wired , where that style has not been the key to success for the most part. Jose tried to keep him off the rail, but he drifted back in , would probably have won by more if not for that.

Apparently , some smart money preferred Crackerjack Jones, pounded from 6-1 to 7/2 late. Not a great trip, looked done at the 1/4 pole wide, but came again to finish well enough. Ground loss there.

PS Time looked dicey to me and according to trackus this was the time, note the first 1/4 reported 22.05 in the chart, the rest close enough
