5f Turf Sprint and the 6 horse had worked 58.6 and looked fantastic. I had played him hard in doubles and the pick 3 the race before.
Santiago Gonzales--a good jockey IMO--sits in back 8 lenths off and waits until he\'s only a furlong out to hit the horse. This horse was moving about as fast in the last sixteenth as anything I have seen only to come up a neck short.
Just an example of how the ride can trump everything else.
