Laurel did. Laurel\'s rebates are 16% of what they were 2yrs ago.

It has been my experience and other\'s may have different experiences but Stronach tracks have done little but increase the take either nominally or by cutting rebates pretty much perpetually since they have gotten in the game.

The last Stronach/Monarch dispute ended with the Monarch tracks cutting rebates by up to 85% or more in some cases.

The good thing though is that they spent huge sums on the GP improvements when 75% of their business won\'t set foot within 100miles of GP.
Plus, daughter Stronach can drag down millions \"working\" at Monarch built off the piles of take out from folks like us.

Lastly, Stronach is opposed to exchange wagering because betting against a horse is unsportsmanlike-maybe someone should inform them that every bet is in essence- for some horse or horses and against some other horse or horses.

The guy is no friend of the horse player that\'s for sure. Maybe he failed math and figures that rebate players are stupid and will keep betting at the same rate despite the percentages getting carved up.

He should just take all the rebates away from all his tracks and he can see what happens to handle.
