I don\'t think a horse owned by the China Horse Club would run on Lasix. I believe they want to legalize racing and wagering in China, and doping a horse would set a bad precedent.

China Club has ownership interests in Good Samaritan and Cal Chrome, both of whom
race on Lasix.

You got me. Guess I\'m just a deplorable racist who thinks all Asians are the same. The Japanese horse in the F&M Turf runs without it, as do most (if not all) Japanese horses running over here. Still, Yellow Agate is not listed with Lasix in the official program or the TwinSpires program.

The Chinese government views racing and wagering as decadent, if not downright corrupt and deplorable, so I wouldn\'t think that doping is the image they are trying to project. Regardless, revitalizing racing over there may just be a \'pipe dream\' (speaking of opium dens).

Not certain where the anger is coming from. Just pointing out that China Club is
buying into bloodstock which races with Lasix.

PRC\'s record vis a vis human rights and the environment well documented; maybe
the presence of thoroughbred racing (with or without Lasix) can bring
enlightenment.

\"Deplorable racist\" a redundancy, no?

Peace. Pick a winner.
