Question for TG offce
« on: December 19, 2016, 05:46:56 PM »
In Fairmont\'s interesting post on Oaklawn, he mentioned something to the effect of not too many people using TG at Oaklawn. If that is fact I find that a reason to play as well. The office obviously has records indicating sales vs. other tracks. How do they sell vs. say FG or TB. Thank You in advance if you can clarify.

Sales are certainly more than Tampa, my guess is about the same as FG, less than GP, SA or Aqu, except on big stake days.

Here\'s my one Oaklawn tip-- given field size and the way they ride there (and that short stretch Mile they run) ground loss is a bigger factor there than pretty much anywhere else. Lots of 5w.

The word \"paceline\" has taken on different meanings over the years. Not all of them involve pace. It is possible he is simply asking how he can tell which previous TG figure the horse is most likely to run back to today.
