Agree it was very impressive performance......but why on earth so wide on the turn?  That just made no sense to me.  I liked the 9 who was a pure 0-2-X play....but came up empty handed....was feeling good when i saw how wide Whitmore was.

Whitmore has had the same wide trip in his last couple of races. Obviously, he is one tough customer. However, sooner or later that 5 wide trip is going to bite him in the ass. I will be betting against him with both hands the next time he runs😝

The dirt track is changing, but once again we have dirt surrounded by turf and its hard to get a clear read. To my eye wide has not been a bad place to be, we\'ll see in the Sir Barton. Hedge Fund should be able to sit anywhere he wishes. We\'ll see how they fair.

Post Sir Barton...Wish the Preakness was this next race.
