So, where does that number rank in the pantheon?  It certainly was visually impressive, but Jesus - a negative seven?  How confident are we in the fig?

Look at the whole race, then tell me how else to do it.

It\'s one of the top 4 or 5. Frosted, Dreaming of Julia, Quality Road, Midnight Lute.

Long ago and far away I read something somewhere - perhaps by Beyer - that the race most likely to produce an otherworldly figure was the one-turn dirt mile.

Top four finishers ran negative......have we seen 4 horses run negative numbers in one race before?  Pardon me if it happens frequently and I just missed it.  Somehow I feel it would be hard to stomach running a negative figure and not even producing well enough to get blacktype.
