FWIW - Late Night Thoughts of an Impatient Horse Player

Positive expectation based on M/L.

Race 1
#6 Louisiana Brown

Race 4
#5 Prolific

Race 5
#11 So Charming

Race 8
#4 Ms Locust Point

Race 10
#13 Machismo
#12 Flameaway

@2 Sporting Chance has run well on off tracks. Probably only has to contend with Quip & California Night for the lead. Lots of late runners in this field.  Potential larceny.

FYI Quip is a scratch going to Ark Derby.
Like Flameaway.
Good Luck

Have never had much success with 3 yos coming out of 2 solid races at Tampa. Maybe they bounce, perhaps the track is too demanding. One race there and they move ahead, 2 and they go back.

But that\'s a personal experience sample size so good luck.

Gotta Go. 😉
Busy day ahead.

Good Luck,
Joe B

Man.....

29 (feels like 18) and at least another couple hours of light snow.  Looks like I may fall short of my goal of a snowman on the infield, but suffice it to say we may never see conditions like this ever again for a Bluegrass.

FWIW, KEE website states turf racing is still to be decided and will be reassessed at noon.  Main is muddy, and at these low temps, would be tough to dry out I would expect.

Tread,

NO SNOWMAN, NO GLOOM AND DOOM, but UGLY for sure,
I can’t imagine in breeding & sales country running graded turf stakes off and losing their designation ? Not looking muy bueno for sure

From what I\'m hearing they are waiting for the snow to stop and (hopefully) the sun warming up to melt the snow on the turf course...at best the early turf comes off but the stake stays on...

I wasn\'t expecting Commute to be 8/1 with 5 min to post. I think that is an overlay isn\'t it?

I\'ll blame the rider for a so so effort and too much pre-race commotion.

Tough to make up over a dozen lengths at 5.5f in bog.

Yes, but all three tracks Kee, SA & Aqu are seriously biased against all of my few  picks today. At least I got one scratched felt like a winner.
