If you need a break from Derby handicapping, this is an interesting interview:

It is kind of funny. If I am remembering one of his first player interviews correctly, the only thing he hasn\'t been awesome at on the show is sports betting. Didn\'t he tell Alex to bet Tampa Bay?

Unlikely because they filmed it months prior. Could be wrong though.

From usbets.com:

During his introduction on the show, Trebek needled him with a question about his profession.

“James Holzhauer is from Las Vegas. He is a professional sports gambler. What does that mean, exactly?” Trebek said.

“Oh, I’ll bet on anything,” Holzhauer replied. “Why, are you looking for a little action on the [Stanley] Cup this year? I like the [Tampa Bay] Lightning.”

“Oh, really? No, I’m not looking for any action whatsoever,” Trebek said. “I go to Vegas for the shows, not the gambling.”

FWIW, the shows are taped a couple months before airing.

That means it was a future bet.  If the only thing the smartest guy in the world gets wrong is a future bet I think I\'ll continue my policy of passing on similar.

From CNBC:

\"Long-running trivia game show Jeopardy! will air a multi-night tournament event, “Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time,” in prime time on ABC starting January 7, the show announced on Monday.
The series of matches, hosted by Alex Trebek, will pit against one another the three players who took home the most cash in the game show’s history: Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer.
After a series of matches, the first to win three face-offs will bank $1 million.\"

What they should do is eliminate daily doubles from at least some of the games.
