DRF - WCH Tournament

Does anyone know why DRF cancelled the 2019 WCH Tournament?  Received an email from them this afternoon offering a refund for the value of the qualifying seat.

If I\'m reading DRF\'s website correctly - and I may not be - DRF has cancelled ALL tournaments and eliminated its tournament website.

No reason given.

DRF tourney site is as transparent as the Kentucky stewards.

What\'s next So Cal raising exotic takeout rates to cover shutdown days?

Hmmm, maybe they were advised that they were operating a form of unlicensed gambling/parimutuel wagering? Correct me if I’m wrong but their typical tournaments did not pay out all entry monies, correct. If so, they were profiting from the operation.
