He’s at best serviceable. Has a really bad habit of attempting to inflect his voice in a way that leads you to thing certain things will happen in a race. That’s fine. Trevor Denman did it successfully for most of his career. This guy is right only about 25% of the time    Do us a favor and just document the event. Leave your poor opinions out of the call

Agree with Relgan. Too much information based on his opinions. And EASY MONEY, stretched for a sixteenth of a mile, has to stop.

The caller seems fine to me, but I\'d like to be able to see the whole field so I can see if anyone is coming from the back and how fast.

Further, as I understood it, Gulfstream was designed with a smaller grandstand because Frank Stronach (rightly, and never more so than now) thought racetracks would primarily become TV studios.  Why then is the starting gate camera for 2-turn dirt races BEHIND the starting gate?

Of all the race callers I have ever heard, Pete Aiello is definitely one of them.

I will repeat: if you need the race caller to make the race exciting, you didn’t bet enough.
