Helium has had only 1 race this year & then never ran another prep & enters the Derby on an 8 week layoff. The last horse to go from TBD to KYD, Destin ran 6th. Also Helium enters the Derby never having a 1 1/8 race, which is virtually unheard of among Derby winners. Here\'s more: Helium beat Hidden Stash, who exposed the class of the Tampa Bay Derby by running 4th, 10 lengths back in the Bluegrass. I don\'t believe that Helium \"re-broke\" at all, Hidden Stash hung late & couldn\'t get the job done & was exposed in his next race. Meanwhile, Rock Your World beat G3 RBLewis winner Medina Spirit easily & MS had already beaten LA Derby winner Hot Rod Charlie. Going into the SA Derby, Medina Spirit was considered the best Californian left after Life Is Good, who would have been a heavy favorite if he had made it to this Derby, went down with an injury. To class handicappers, there\'s so much of a class difference that Helium shouldn\'t be anywhere close to RYW at the finish. Even Rock Your World\'s sheet # is slightly better even though he was always inside at SA.
