While TGPS is no longer a thing I would feel remiss to wonder about the “software as a service” idea and if it ever came to TG. Netflix takes in millions each month. I’d be curious to see what TG would take in at a competitive amount? … also. A clocker would be great.

What do you mean by \"competitive amount?\"

I would like to know more about your idea.

TGPS is still a thing, and I don’t understand what your idea means. I talked a few times with Maggie Wolfendale about trying to get a product together, the problem with what she does and clockers do are a) those things are labor intensive, and b) the person doing them has to be both competent and credible.

TGPS is back, bluechip. Still curious about your idea if you\'re out there reading this.

I noticed. My idea was turning TG into a subscription model vs pay per track. Obviously, after having thought about it, is not a great idea considering it would probably be less lucrative for JB in the short (in probably longterm).

I don\'t know about Jerry, but I like your idea. Netflix is around $10 a month. :-)

Absolutely.  $10/month for unlimited TG data is an excellent idea.

Maybe throw in some free pizza, as well.

All the inflation talk has me thinking about raising prices for the first time in 15 years or so.

I started on TG when they first came to LA in March the year Winning Colors won the Derby (1988?).  One day\'s races were $27, I believe.  Back then I had to find Julian to buy paper versions in person.  Back then a race card in SoCal was around 100 horses a day, almost twice as many horses a day as now.  So any increases in the inflation rate should be offset by decreases in # of sheets per day.  So no price increase is recommended.  You\'re welcome.

Consider going international to make up for lost opportunities in the States. The California tracks may be the next to go. They seem to be on life support right now.

Let me know if you need anyone to do ground work in the Eastern Bloc. I\'ll gladly go back to the Old Country for free sheets. :-)

This is all well and good but I want to remind TGLegal that I have the exclusive
right to do ground at the Moscow Hippodrome and the resort track at Pyatigorsk.
There is a photo of me somewhere from 2006 outside of the Hippodrome wearing a
ThoroGraph baseball cap.

Still working with my connections in Ulam Bataar to get TG access to the Mongol
Derby, the world\'s longest horse race.
