RED ROUTE ONE

Allow me to get this in before the 3yo\'s dominate the discussion.

Keep an eye on RED ROUTE ONE this summer. He may heading towards bigger, and better things.

RED ROUTE ONE came into the Oaklawn Handicap off a breakthrough of a early 3yo top ... on Thoro-Graph. He may have run another top this past weekend based on the 107 Beyer they gave SKIPPY. That\'s ok, though. He may have more to give.

GUN RUNNER offspring tend to hit their stride going from 3yo to 4yo. That\'s according to the Thoro-Graph Sire Profile. The average rate of improvement is around 4 points. The average for all stallions is around 2 points.

I don\'t think I\'m the only handicapper with this opinion. RED ROUTE ONE took a lot of money in the Oaklawn Handicap to close at 7/2 odds ... even though SKIPPY & HIGHLAND FALLS were much faster on paper.

Can\'t wait to see what his sheet looks like.

I salute you and the others who take the ages TGI 2-3-4 index #.  Really exposes some longshots/contenders this time of year.
