Oaks and Belmont days
« on: June 12, 2024, 02:45:57 PM »
…are in ROTW. Note Thorpedo Anna.

Jake tweeted their figures for the winners. Some are close, some were nuts (Randomized), some races were tricky and they went a different way (Met Mile, I broke it out and marked it for review later).

They cheated TA again, but at least this time they had her in the right universe.

McPeek was hesitant to run Mystik Dan in the Preakness. Was still able to run his race possibly due to the favorable track condition (for him). Then turns around and runs him 3 weeks later. The TG number, not surprisingly, reflects what the first 2 races took out of him.

Mott was going to rest up Resilience after his Derby effort. Mentions that the 1 1/4 distance was probably too far for him. Runs him in the Belmont anyway where he proceeds to run the worst race of his career.

Sometimes it pays to listen to these guys when they\'re not singing the \"I wouldn\'t trade places with anyone\" song.

Good Luck,
Joe B.
