While several of us will be in sunny Hallandale Saturday awaiting the FOY the following week, this week could spell trouble for those coming to Hot Springs.  From Tuesday mid-day till Saturday post time, the temps will not get above freezing.  Lows in the teens, highs in 20s till Friday when it\'ll hit a balmy 30.  Projected to get to 40 as a high for Saturday.
The snow and ice may cause issues for those shipping.

No Rebel for me this year.  

This has been a winter like Missouri has not seen since the 1980\'s when I was a kid and we had real winters like this.  If I knew it would have been a real winter again, I would have spent Jan and Feb in Florida and I\'m not joking.

I don\'t watch the news but folks this morning have mentioned 3 to 5 inches of snow, 5 to 15 inches of snow, and 6 to 9 inches of snow in my travels.  This is why I don\'t watch the news and why I don\'t pay attention to other people\'s picks in horse racing.  

Fountain of Youth better bring near perfect weather . . .
