Thanks. It still matters. Its not perfect system but when its this far out of the boundary he is a not viable.

Baffy will run 1-2 in the Derby!
(then the rest of the field will run the full 10 panels)

Bit:
You make a valid point and I heard on the Byk show Wilkes stating that he didn’t handle the kick back very well.

No doubt in my mind Hernandez can get him to the rail with that draw.
It’s more of does the horse want to be on the rail.

They schooled him on the rail in his Sat work. And he ran the rail & saved ground in his races- whether he liked it or not. He\'s going to take dirt for sure. Maybe he\'s the type of critter that just gets pissed off then once swung out wide he says- OK now I\'ll show ya! :P. The one thing Wilkes said pre- Holy Bull I will never forget: \'He just never gets tired\'. What else do you want from a 10f horse?

actually there are some DI surprises for those of us that go way back, and in a race like this with lots of nice lines and numbers, i will toss these DI\'s out of win at least, and work with the rest

luxor cafe, burnham sq, publisher, sovereignty, citizen bull and tiztastic

Caution on outright tossing those Rich. Dosage is but one tool to help predict proclivity for endurance. Our eyes at 9f is another. I used to chat w/Steve Roman back in the day at the Blood-Horse forum. He knows his system is imperfect- AND the biggest flaw/caveat- the Chef-De-Race sires that are used to calculate the DI/CD etc. never account for the current direct sire, damsire, and rarely either their grandsires. That\'s why the numbers change down the line; say i.e. in 10 yrs if Liam\'s Map is getting winners at 9-12f, he and his ancestors can be added to the recipe.

Watch a replay of the Holy Bull. Thats the race where he beat the Florida Derby winner. Not sure what Brian Hernandez may be saying, but after viewing that replay you judge for yourself if the horse can\'t handle being in behind them.

His maiden win was down inside too.

Not sure what Hernandez may have said but he took a hit at the break and it was Hernandez that sent him 7 wide when it looked over. He also had to alter when River Thames changed course late. The trouble that was overcome was about as bad as it gets. He shouldn\'t have won.

Brian Hernandez...Don\'t be skaart. You go down inside when you have to. Go down in there.

Brian rode him for the first time in the Bluegrass. Edgar Zayas previously in FLA. Brian is no-fear. Look at the trip he gave Mystik Dan last year! He\'s a Louisiana boy- Brian \"Borel\" lol
