Alvarado received 62k + in fines. Hopefully the owners cover the tab for Alvarado. #$@&, they should not only cover it,but tip him.

It could\'ve been much worse.  I read that if the jockey had used the whip 2 more times, the horse would\'ve been DQed.

Ask the Experts:  This may be a very stupid question, but is there a reason hardly any horses are working over the Pimlico Surface? (They seem to be working at Laurel.)

I know the track is set for renovation shortly, but the spotty works are very frustrating.
