PVal and the SoCal stewards

Was there any chance in hell that the stewards were going to allow that claim of foul at SA yesterday and elevate PVal to the win?  I was proclaiming AS IS as soon as I realized he finished 2nd, and he wasn\'t even the one to claim foul.
