March is not April

Gotta tellya, I\'m pretty happy with my pool 2 field bet. Bellamy Road, Blues And Royals, Flower Alley, Greeley\'s Galaxy, maybe Wild Desert and Survivalist-- so far. Should make it a lot easier to bet the race.

Michael D-- when they get a fast track, some of these horses can run pretty fast.

jerry,
yea..... but didn\'t coronados quest run faster on a slower track about five years ago? drf says it was easily the fastest wood ever, but i thought CQ went 1:47 flat? no?.... hey, i posted after forest danger ran at GP that i though it was the fastest race i had ever seen (i think, too lazy to search). that was an impossible race to put a # on, but looking back, do you think that was a left bank/GZ type race? that\'s one of the speediest horses i have ever seen (awful fragile though). that said, i played a straight 6/1 exacta and collected zip (where was that 1 horse - never even saw him in the picture?)

how about the cheaters derby (oaks). canani should be investigated by the feds. the guy defrauded bettors out of millions of dollars by shaking slowcatomine (and yes, i said this last month). don\'t know what happened to summerly. i guess i was wrong on her. get her away from the friendly FG strip and she falls apart. sis city - i give up. i lose every race she runs in.

and jerry, i still like your field bet. 6-1 is nice (prob worth about 3-1 or 4-1). the blue grass is going to be wild. there was almost a travers like atmosphere today at kee. if the weather is nice next w/e (and if KU is in session) the place is going to be out of control.

.............
looking at the carter chart now, they finished very slow. i guess that would have been a faster race if it were 6f or 6.5f (kind of like the general george). how fast is DS going to go when he cuts back to 6f?

\"what happened to summerly.\"

Let\'s see.

Last time she wired a field off a crawling pace on a loose lead on a track that may have been tilted towards the inside. Today she had a quality speed like Sis City to cope with on an honest track and she didn\'t run as well. She got tested a little more today and didn\'t have it. IMO, an underlay at 2-1.

Sorry I didn\'t run into you this weekend. But your asessment of the Keeneland atmosphere is right on.

As for No catomine anymore, (My pre Derby Bet is down the tubes), I had her with Buzzards Bay in a $25 exacta Box looking good around turn 2. The people who train and manage her should be investigated for what they did to the betting public.

Kinda Chalky weekend at Keeneland.

Where are we going to meet this one coming up?
