munificence 9/1
real dandy 15/1
shamoan 15/1
thor\'s echo 9/1
barometer rising 15/1
general charley 10/1
storm surge 6/1
southern africa 7/1
awesome twist 7/1
yes he\'s a pistol 25/1
forever wild 20/1
magna graduate 7/1

about the most evenly matched field i can remember running a line on.  if the morning line holds up, i would just be looking at  token sized wagers using munificence.

I think REAL DANDY stands out here...# seems very solid here – Clearly the one to beat...Will use him with STORM SURGE, GENERAL CHARLEY, THORO’S ECHO, AWESOME TWIST, MAGNA GRADUATE for the exacta & trifecta.

It\'s Real Dandy for me to win....wheel the field for second and the grass horse for third.

I would box Awesome Twist, Southern Africa and Real Dandy (no way that will be 15-1) in exactas and tris.

Good luck.

I got a headache trying to handicap this race. There are so many horses that seem to have similar ability. Some seem disadvantaged by their post and others may face a fairly rough pace. One thing is fairly certain, you need a decent price to get involved.

In no special order.

Real Dandy might sit a nice trip inside.

Thor\'s Echo battled back to back tough paces, but may face another one today.

Storm Surge has been battling tougher horses and could sit just off a tough pace (which would be great), but I think he prefers one turned sprints. He doesn\'t seem to have full punch late in routes.

Southern Africa took turns with Thor\'s Echo. I think he was best on the day he lost and 2nd best on the day he won. Might get a good pace setup, but the outside post is going to hurt a little.

Awesone Twist benefitted from a fast pace in front of him in his last, but he looks like a high quality horse that might appreciate a route and another fast pace to run at. Outside post could be a problem.

Magna Graduate has been running well against better, but is way outside.

I could say similar things about the others.

It really is one tough race to handicap and make an odds line on!

Need a price for sure!

i give you credit TG, you don\'t duck the tough ones. every horse in this race looks competitive to me. i have a \"6\" next to RD. i like the post, and the jock should save ground. might get held up a bit closing in this big field, but should be close at the end. i have a \"5\" next to southern africa. with the nice timing coming in, and the nice works, i think this is the horse most likely to run well. post 8 in this big field is a big concern however. even a \"2\" or \"3\" might turn into a \"5\". the other fast ones might also face some serious ground loss. if i bet it, i will probably take SA on top, and use RD, TA, and MG underneath.

Still learning TG and figure posting at least makes me put it in writing and make decisions

I got Southern Africa over Magna Graduate...then tough call between General Charley and Real Dandy but I wouldn\'t be worrying about 3rd and 4th place anyway so no biggie there

Admittedly Awesome Twist has good figs but I just have to go agaist the sprint-route and 2 turns and throw him out

Love Southern Africa @ 7:1. Broke through w/ hood 2 back. Bullet work 5/8. Good stalker, ran well vs. Declan\'s Moon. No reason to think he will bounce.

Gonna use on top/second w/ 2,4,10,12 Win bet, too.

well, the turf horse cost us the ex and tri, but good to see some of us hit it with SA on top. $16.40 was more than fair. well done TG.

just watched the replay. SA looked to be about 3w/4w. i know little about lonestar, so i don\'t know how the # will come back, but that is a nice 8f to 8.5f horse.

Good call by Blind Switch focusing on the winner.  I noticed the trainer of the place horse gets tops turf to dirt but still, he could\'ve run a new top and been off the board with these...  HP
