Looks like FLOWER ALLEY achieved a 111 Beyer for his Jim Dandy effort. The times have been playing slow going a route of ground so far and from looking at the time from the prior race, the figure makes sense.

Visually, it was one of the ugliest looking 111 Beyers I have seen in a while and I\'ll look elsewhere for a potential Travers play.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

There wasn\'t much in that field. It was practically just a very strong NW2 allowance race. But the crop is so decimated, the pickings are slim for betting against him unless someone steps up in the Haskell.

Class--

I hear you. With the eye, FLOWER ALLEY looks nothing like a 1 1/4 animal and IMO Saratoga is a demanding track going long. You need to be a true stayer to win the Travers which may be the reason so many Belmont Stakes in the $ runners have fared well in the Travers.

To your point, yes the remaining crop is weak and coming up with anything with confidence will be tough.

Good Luck,
Joe B.
