Cashed nicely on Wirebender in the 3rd @ Keeneland and the exacta as well.Silver Minister won the 5th @ Keeneland and paid 5-2 and he was the slowest horse in the race, i don\'t have a problem with him winning, but this horse was 5-1 on the line and paid 7.00. Even with the rail trip i still didn\'t see it.I bet the 10 horse,and he was the only one who ran a good race of the ones who had strong figs.

Give it a chance. It took me a while to decipher it.

Few things, The line maker at Kee is horrible. The betting public seems to have favorite sons in trainers,jockeys,stables and even sires. The horse had the golden rail, Bejerano the leading jock, Foley one the leading triner at kee & 2nd start of a form cycle. The horse was a former stakes runner, now running for 25K for second time lowest level in life, and showed life in last. Not too hard to figure why  or at least anticipate why the betting public projected this horse to be better than 5-1 in that field.

Cong, time to get ready for the BC big betting day and take some time study the sheets that TG has on this site in the archives, to see if they make any sense to you. I have certain lines I look for good and bad. Also when sheet reading it\'s not always about picking whose going to run well, it\'s also about picking whose going to run bad, that might be one thing I do better and sometimes get stuck on how to bet a race. Look threw some of them and ask question, there\'s some good readers on this board that could help out. Get prepared for battle and study, that\'s the best way to master a skill. I\'ve been going over the old BC sheets for about 3 weeks now and I\'m counting down the days to the BC I\'m ready, but I will still keep moving forward in learning.

Thanks guys, I\'ve been really paying attention to Keeneland since day one and there is know dought that this is a tricky track for horses. You have know chance if you are far back and don\'t break good,unless the race is on turf.
  But anyway,which to Thorograph players prefere to handcap with Equibase pp\'s or DRF? I think Equibase is easier to read and the pace figs are nice.

   Yes there has been noticeable \"bias\" at Kee first four days, which makes Slew Peg, who took a turf race wire to wire Wednesday, and Soul Search, who made up a lot of ground to win a main track event, horses to watch in the future.

   \"TG players\" will tell you the following: \"We don\'t need no stinking DRF, we don\'t need no stinking Equibase\". Drink the Kool Aid, man!

    Conga, I appreciate your enthusiasm. Just remember, as Thomas Gray said, \"The paths of glory lead but to the grave\". This was restated by Damon Runyan \"All horseplayers die broke.\"

    Keeneland wants Polytrack by 06 and has been toying with the \"GPS\" type technology which will allegedly be able to give an accurate raw time and measure ground loss. Apparently there are some glitches with this GPS technology;in the October 1 Blood Horse, it was reported that Frankie Dettori gave Dubawi an awful trip in the QEII stakes, saving no ground, yet \"Statistics gleaned from data chips that are fitted into each runner\'s saddlecloth suggested Dubawi had lost no ground at all\".

   Unbelievable amounts of rain here in NYC, look for Belmont racing to be cancelled Friday, and wonder how much training time is being missed by BC runners stabled in NY.

They may all end up broke,but i play the game because i love it. I grew up in R.I with two race tracks and a dog track. i use to skip class in high school to make bets.I\'m in the real estate business, so believe it or not cashing some very nice ickets over the years have put me in the boat i\'m in. A couple to off the top of my head are-Kona Gold honest Lady exacta in the Breeders Cup/Johannasburg-Repent exacta and the Super with Publication running 4th. Oh yeah Valponi M\'Doro. So although we may die broke a little work and luck can put you in a good spot not to be broke. For kicks this morning i looked at the handicappers selections @ Equibase for Keeneland yesterday and out of 6 featured cappers, they only picked 1 winner for the day that paid 2-1. So i guess as i sit here with my dog every day and don\'t cash a thing i can\'t feel so bad. What a \"GIG\" they have!

My wife is a psycologist and i\'ve asked here many times to evaluate horse players to see what makes us tick.Your also not wrong to horse players going broke. I think the guys who go to the track every day with the track form loose all the time and i think of myself as a very hard working player who sits at home reading charts and sheets while watching replays, while getting in-sight from other anvanced players like Thorograph users has a much greater chance in making a decent living.Hard work will pay off know matter what you do. Well it\'s 11:30 and i\'m assuming you are playing today, so lets take the approach of handicapping. I just started looking at the feature on the Turf @ Keeneland.T.D. Vance finally broke through hid 2 year old top, but i still think there are 4 runners in the race that have a chance in the win spot.

    The real(rainy) world calls today and I will not be involved at Keeneland. Looks like a wide open feature ... my stab would be with the undefeated, inexperienced gelding Therecomesatiger at 8/1 or above.
