Yes, their top choice ran 3rd, but the two they thought were tough ran 1-2. I guess you could look at it certain ways.

Kev...I read your post..\"Is anybody cashing tickets?\" I\'ve been betting for 50 years and since being exposed to TG I\'ve become a much better player. I\'ve reduced the number of bets a week and always use \"The Numbers\" when ready to fire a shot. The ROTW is a great concept.....Weekly,I bet $100 in tri\'s and supers on the ROTW. If I get a chanch to make a smart straight bet, I\'ll go for it,too.

Interesting TG/general handicapping quandary-- the ROTW pick saved the most ground but may have been on the worst part of the track.

Watching the head on replay, In Summation broke on top but made no effort to run along the inside; the eventual winner was outside of In Summation.

Did not watch enough Calder racing Saturday to make my own opinion, but wonder if Lucky Chief will have been deemed to have raced on a dead rail?

On certain days on certain surfaces, 3W, 4W good, rail bad. Will Polytrack eliminate this?

A few horses made extremely strong moves way on the outside, but a few ran OK near the inside. I didn\'t see all the head on shots etc.. so I can\'t form a strong opinion, but it wouldn\'t shock me if there was path or 2 on the outside that was better than the rest of the track. I thought Summation was best. He was extremely game after putting away CAB and repulsing the bid of Lucky Chief.

Speaking of biases, is the Keenland turf bias still going strong. If so, Gorella ran a huge race.

hi, i\'m going to be following this potential bias. to me the worst bias in history was this spring at churchill with the dead rail.

btw, if the turf rail is boggy who\'s to say that a horse like gorella or the europeans wouldn\'t LOVE IT, thereby negating the supposed bias?

No horse \"loves\" running on boggy ground.  All horses will run slower on this than on solid ground.

However, if the whole turf course was boggy, then Gorella would have run \"less slow\" than the American horses on it, thus giving the impression that he \"loved it\".
