2004 Arc

How solid is the figure for the 2004 Arc where Ouija Board finished a close 3rd?

We know that OB hasn\'t run as well in 2005 as in 2004 \"so far\". So that immediately makes her a bit suspect as the favorite. However, I\'d like to be more certain about how good she actually was in 2004. I can evaluate the ease of last year\'s BC performance because I know all the horses and can watch the video. The 2004 Arc was the best colts in the world (Bago for example will probably be the favorite for the Turf this year). She only lost by 1 1/2 lengths. You would guess that was a faster race.

CH-- Europe races under a different scale of weights than we do, and 3yos get more, which is why they often beat their elders there, then come over here and tank. In addition, she got weight as a filly.
