Was it? Some horses appeared to struggle,but there were a couple of winners inside and maybe one or two exacta horses.Trombetta felt it hindered SNS,but didn\'t blame his rider for ending up there.

I think bias affects horses more in sprints than routes anyways since horses are running harder and hitting the ground harder in sprints.  Also, the effect of saving ground on 2 turns would at least offset some of the effect of the deeper going.

But that said, the outer paths did seem to be better at Churchill on Friday and Saturday.
