I\'m looking for the percentage of breakdowns per horse in the last 2 TC legs, to compare to the same thing in the BC races, and if possible against all races year-round.

Off the top of my head, Barbaro, Proud Citizen, Charismatic recently. Cavonnier? Sham, going back a long time.

Jerry... I\'m a stats freak... I\'m very slow at work right now and could check this out for you.  I\'ll check by charts... I\'m assuming you mean actually during the race where it would be noted in the charts.

You could also add Union City in the Preakness and Prairie Bayou & Tank\'s Prospect, both breaking down at BEL.  Cavonnier came back and raced as a 5 yo.

There was a Team Valor horse, Dr. Greenfield 4 or 5 years ago in the Belmont who wouldn\'t load in the gate, I think it took a good 10 minutes to get him in and then the horse hit his leg while in the gate, finished last, and never raced again. I would count that one too in any study.
