why are results of contest only posted thru 7/27 it would be alot more interesting if it were posted more often with a breakdown of saratoga/delmar

What are the current standings?  Seems odd with all the hype before the contest that results are never posted at either site.

Based on the news embargo and the fact that the rules paragraph on the Contest page seems to have changed, my guess is that back-channel negotiations are going on over the rules, thus delaying the posting of official results.   We may need to call in Condoleezza Rice before this is over with.

There should be something of some kind coming out on the figure study today, and I will have some comments of my own. I got immersed in the handicapping contest over the weekend and between travelling and trying to catch up enough to head up to Saratoga (not doing the Friday discussion, will do Saturday), I haven\'t looked at any results since early Saturday. I have seen three different scores, all have Ragozin ahead.

For such a supposedly simple contest, it should be easy to score.  Changing the rules after the start makes it a crap contest, if that is what happens.
