the horse was asked to use more energy earlier, and had less left at the end.
did he run his best? probably not.
i thought he was ready to pop a negative \'4\' or \'5\', but he found a bit of adversity for the first time, ran a touch slower, and was beaten by a great horse.
the sad part is that the guy is 66% likely to pair or run a new top off the fastest string of three year old figures ever recorded, and he ain\'t runnin again.
