The Fastest Ass in the West

I\'m going home to Montana this weekend and will have the opportunity to bet on the multi-species race cards at the Western Montana Fair -- where the clods meet the Clydes.

Since mule racing is an integral part of any fair card, does anybody know what #s Black Ruby has been running?  Jerry, how does she compare to the great mule (or was he a donkey) of old -- Eor?  Many say that Black Ruby\'s numbers are faster but for my money nobody could have beat Eor at his best.

Too bad you don\'t have a spotter at WMF.  With 6 horse (and mule and ostrich and hyena) fields and pools that can climb into the thousands of dollars I\'m just drooling over the possibilities for a huge coup.

I\'m not sure which is funnier, this or Cliff Notes\' review of The Odds Must Be Crazy over on the Sheets board...but, y\'all are on a roll...anyway, for the record, I\'m sure Eor got better numbers, but ol \'Ruby would have outhearted him...
