If you know the guy who won the Preakness is the \'most notorious perpetrator\' why then didn\'t you load up on his horse?
Cheating all comes down to the fact that unless you are behind the scenes and really \'in the know\', you are going on guesswork like the rest of us. Who\'s cheating and who is not is part of handicapping. In this handicapping puzzle we call thoroughbred racing, EVERYTHING must be \'handicapped\' into the equasion. We cant start picking and choosing which factors are relevant.
Sniffing out crooks is part of the puzzle. If someone gets good at doing it, they are going to be able to make more money betting ON the magic bullet horse than if they just throw up their hands and say, \"i can\'t beat the game because i can\'t figure out who\'s cheating and who is not\"
You gotta figure it out if you want to win.( or win more).
Personally, i\'d love to see all the cheats go away and have oats and hay racing. unfortunately, that doesn\'t appear to be happening any time soon. So, i have to make due with what i have as opposed to yelling and screaming about changing the rules.
