Can anybody tell me why Johnny V. was not riding King of the Roxy yesterday.  Ramon Dominguez over Johnny V??? What were they thinking??

Barry Irwin may chime in (as he has been known to do here), but I\'d take a guess that it has to do with Johnny V. taking off KOTR to ride Circular Quay in the Preakness.  Mr. Irwin was not happy at the time.

Note that Ramon was also on Unbridled Belle for Team Valor, giving her an exemplary ride, and had 5 winners on the card yesterday.

King of KOTR can\'t get two turns is my guess. In my opinion JV is no better jock then RD.

I didn\'t like the ride KOTR got at all (I didn\'t have a bet on the race).  The horse may be better sprinting, but I didn\'t see anything in that result that suggested to me that the horse can\'t run very well at middle distances.
