The one-variant-fits-all figure makers are going to a) have a nervous breakdown, and b) give out some really messed up figures, OR c) abandon their principles, when it comes to doing last Saturday\'s Belmont.

Is it not possible that the 2 yr old filly race was just slow, period, despite the surface being glib.Honest question!!.Guess you have it slowing down from the filly race on but the colts ran 10 lenghts faster which is not in the range of the normal difference.

I know you are aware the wind was strong against them on the backside all day but they crawled home in that filly race with the wind at their back thru the lane.

There were other issues besides that race. Without giving anything away, I think I got it right.
