I think the filly will continue to provide value for bettors as people perceive her to be the dreaded \"other Pletcher\" as long as Johnny V. rides somebody else. Makes for some nice mutuels.

Most bettors in this day and age are hung up on what they perceive to be the logical connections. They have not been doing their homework.

Broken Vow\'s broken rein in the BC Juvey is one of the great \"what ifs\" in my personal paramutual history. I was loaded for bear on that one...

I didn\'t buy her as a yearling. Gary Capuano did.

But from what I have learned from Taylor Made Farm, she was very tall and gawky, as well as very unfurnished.

Her conformation is good and so is her family.

Stuff like this happens.

Looks like a new horse having confirmed her Delaware romp now at Belmont. Dominguez fits her style like a glove. Not without a real shot at Monmouth if she makes her big late run.

Just for the sake of clarity, the Velasquez/Pletcher went off at 7.2-1

The winning filly went off at 6.7-1

In other words there really wasn\'t very much to \"Pletcher\" value shopping in said race.

The B.C. Distaff itself will be an excellent betting race with Pletcher taking buckets of dollars.

Another interesting race will be the B.C. Classic. Made all the more so by the Jockey Club Gold Cup results. Lawyer Ron definitely lost some luster after two superhorse performances and looks up against it on cycle and scenario.  Expect a wild outcome at Monmouth with Plech gasping as hard as his horses.
