There was no way to get away from it. Even the way I did it, only two horses ran well in a GI, and I added compared to the other sprints.

Rags has a -2.75 for ML.  BTB was given a .25.

- Big colt apparently had gate problems at Santa Anita due to his size, and was (obviously) fine in the slightly larger starting gate at the Spa... which leaves the question concerning the size of the Monmounth gate (anyone have a clue???) and if he could be negatively affected. It\'s safe to say this is not a good spot to not break cleanly. Baffert\'s huge colt Point Given also raced at Monmouth; only issue in the starting gate then was BB getting last second riding instructions to the hall of fame jock. (!)

- Baffert has won 3 out of the last 7 Grade Ones on the dirt at Monmouth (Haskell)

- Only Forego winner to win the BC Sprint in 23 years was Orientate 5 yrs ago

Midnight Lute is another Aldebaran. Seven furlong horse who will not go six.

I don\'t care if his last figure looks like the temperature in the north pole in the middle of winter..............

The best number for any horse means, by definition, this is the most talented racehorse in history on his best day.

Do we think ML is the best horse who\'s ever looked thru a bridle?
