Hol R8 - The Hollywood Starlet
« on: December 15, 2007, 12:40:37 PM »
2 Grace Anatomy (ml 5-1) - two nice sprints over the Dmr poly to start her career, and a very nice run in the Alcibiades after an awful start. ran fast enough there to beat all of these except Country Star, and that one figures to lose a bit of ground today.

forget the BC debacle. plenty of works over the course.

looking for Smith to save most of the ground from post two and get the win here.

Michael-- you used \"Smith\" and \"save ground\" in the same sentence?

instead of \"looking for Smith to save most of the ground from post two\", I probably should have wrote \"praying for Smith to save any ground from post two\".

speaking of saving ground - I was just looking at the WL McNight from Crc (R11). Rene Douglas averages a very tight 1.6 paths in turf races. Crown Point has a few runs in the \'3\' range on the sheet. nice timing coming into this one. a \'3\' with three 1 path turns puts him right there in this big field. gets a bit of weight from the faster ones. 20-1 ml. did you look at the race Jerry?

A lot of horses can win that race, and the Wolfson horse is double entered in the 10th and 11th.

Country Star is a beautiful mover. After exploding in upper stretch did you see her ears when she crossed the wire? This one wants a lot more ground. Wow...
