He\'s the morning line favorite. Did you see how quick Monterey Jazz went yesterday? If the track is the same they are gonna run this 9 poles in under 1:45

I\'m taking the most conservative approach-I will not bet a dirt race at Santa Anita this meet. I bet one race the 1st week of the meet & haven\'t touched it since. The whole idea that one would bet on a track where you have to guess what they\'re running on is beyond me.  Who knows what the figures mean from one day to the next? They should just tear the whole thing apart and put in a totally new track, then sue the original installer for damages. The best way to look at it is there are plenty of other tracks & other races that do not require such an unknown as the track itself.

Yeah, they should probably shut down and start over before racing on the track at all-

Yes, Santa Anita is now unplayable in my mind. I followed So. Cal racing closely for about 15 years. Now, I\'m looking for another circuit -- maybe New York; that\'s where I started out. The whole situation has been a fiasco on many levels. Consider the track surface issues and the illegal drug use and they have now rendered one of the best products worthless.
