leaving a field of just 6 @ OAK - this in addition to spottsgone...since the horse shipping up from FG is also Assmussen\'s let me be the first to cross the grassy knoll...

No shot. Encaustic is ours, we made a late decision, there\'s no way Steve would scratch the favorite to open it up for a longshot. They were obviously pointing for the 500k on 4/5, now they\'ll have np prep. Something must have happened.

By the way-- while I think Nick\'s pick in this race is stong, I like our chances. I don\'t want anyone to think we picked against the house horse to get better odds.
