We have to get past the Dubai craziness before I can focus on that. Probably won\'t decide until late tonight or tomorrow.

Because the races go off in the middle of the night California time. You gotta be a farmer to watch them out there.

I didn\'t think about that- I\'m gonna be up early on Sat. to see all the action!
I\'m sure whatever you decide will be an interesting handicapping race.

You tell me how fast that South American is, and I\'ll tell you who to bet. He\'s a North American bred, which means that last year he was a 2yo running against 3yos-- at 1 1/4 and 1 1/2-- and killing them.

I can\'t get excited about him.

His trainers stats tell me to not use him. The trainer has 5 wins in the last year:

Mcl 10,000 at Ind
4000clm @ Elp
5000clm @ RD
Alw race at Mnr
Maiden race at Mnr

The last Group I winner he had from Peru ran up the track in a non graded event. His Group 3 Peru winner ran up the track at Lone Star.

Now this guy gets the keys to the \"Peru Woner Horse\"?

No thanks!

Majestic Warrior got hurt last year. IMO, he was rushed into a pretty tough spot for his 3YO debut coming off an inury, but he ran a lot better than it looks. Watch the race. He was very wide most of the race but made a move past horses like a very superior animal before he tired badly. He was probably very short. I think he either moves forward a lot or the wheels fall off. The outside post is not going to help.

I think the problem with this horse is his wheels are coming off.

Literally

Taggs horse might be tough in here

Taggs horse has a big 4 pt top last out, You have the big number horses at 8,9,12 and you got the inside, a tad slower Smooth Air, working very well over that deep calder track, with this race in mind. I like the pattern, the post and the plan.

Tagg\'s horse will be tough. One has to assume he won\'t bounce considering the spacing and solid workout pattern.

Would not put a dime on FIERCE WIND. That\'s 2 drifts in a row. Was lucky to win last since BIG TRUCK has no turn move. The other colt out of that race may improve tomorrow at a price. Nice inside post, stamina building works. SMOOTH AIR had to alter course when Zito\'s colt bore out @ Tampa. Not a bad use in the exotics.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Rich:

You reading my mind??

Connections had this race circled since November. Florida bred and owned. Would make a nice trophy in their Florida home.

Good Luck,
