Then they both should appear in the Polytrack Derby or The Great American Turf Derby. But not as significant competitors in the Ky Derby.

We are learning one thing about Polytrack and Synthetic horses.They are not very tough and to win the Derby you need toughness.

You\'ve misunderstood me. I would never choose to compromise the safety of the horse for any personal gain. I like animals too much. I am actually in favor of Poly tracks. I would like to see them employed universally. If I say I don\'t like them, it is to say I don\'t like to play them because I find the performance of horses unfamiliar with the surface unpredictable. I believe you agree.

You\'re right and they know. And I think it will happen in less then 5 years. It has to. The general public has no further appetite for watching these animals go down. It will be interesting watching the breeders whose investment in dirt racing lines comes in conflict with the broader interest of the sport.
