FYI, Visionaire will not be sent to the Breeders\' Cup because there is no suitable race for him. Sprint is too short, Mile is not a mile, but a mile plus around two turns. So we will keep him at his home base and run in the Jerome and the Cigar Mile, which make more sense.

Riddle: what is the difference between the BC opting to hold the event at Santa Anita two times in a row and the Republicans opting for Governor Palin?

Answer: the Republicans so far have only given Palin the nod for this election, not the next one, too.

Otherwise both choices have a lot of similarities!

From listening to the radio this morning, the track has been laid.  It was reported Gary Stevens after taking a couple horses acroos it said it was the best track he\'s ever been on...  HUH???

You have to remember that Stevens is partially employed by Uncle Frank so I doubt he would say anything other than that about his surface.

The sprint is too short for him? Was The Sprint too short for 1) Gulch, 2) Dancing Spree, 3) Lit de Justice, 4) Elmhurst, or 5) Midnight Lute? ALL late running sprinters. Not to mention Honest Lady, A FILLY that ran a fast closing second.

Give us a break, Barry. Run him in the Jerome? After winnig the prestigious grade I King\'s Bishop, I would figure that the great Team Valor Stable would have larger aspirations than the Jerome....or do you have no confidence in Visionaire?

If I were a partner in Team Valor, I would insist on a prep in the Ancient Title and then on to The Sprint. However, I\'m not a puppet or a yes man.

Lets make it clear. Stevens is fully employed by Frank and HRTV.

Not sure he would lie just to make his employers happy, but it\'s been know to have happened a time or two. Just ask \"ANY\" one of the three Senators running in this election.

The only benefit if any of them get elected to the White House, we have a chance for new blood to replace either of those legacies. Term Limits anyone?

Surface shouldn\'t be part of the equation. Visionaire ran one of his best races up to that point in the Bluegrass.

Without Benny the Bull, the Sprint is wide open. If I owned Visionaire, I would ship, prep in the Ancient Title, and run in the Sprint. If he runs well, you have to make a decision about stud duty or a freshening. If he runs poorly, there is still a bit over thirty days to ship back East and run in The Cigar Mile, where he would be running OFF the poly.
