UK Data
« on: March 17, 2009, 08:48:13 AM »
Can\'t wait for this product. I\'m sure you guys have made a big effort to make them available. Since I mainly bet turf racing, I am looking forward in finding an edge in the Euros. Jerry, what pools are available to bet the UK? Are they big enough and do they offer rebates?

Thanks

Do not know the answer, but Scott Finley runs the US operation of racing UK. He\'s probably going to post something on here later today, but his email is sfinley@tiac.net, and he is encouraging horseplayers to get hold of him. Scott is Bill\'s brother, used to be with George at the Racing Times, he\'s a horseplayer. Those of you who played UK racing in the tent at Saratoga last summer may know him.

Two excellent UK sites for racing information on the KY Derby Challenge are www.sportinglife.com and www.timeform.com.

going with close alliance, joddmonte has him nominated to the blue grass & TC.  One race last year was got a decent fig. Most of these are probably taking a flier, I think he\'s been pointed here for a while.  Dam is full sib to derby runner up aptitude.

youbet also taking wagers.

I didn\'t do comments on this race, but someone want to tell me why Gosden (Mafaaz) is not 8/5 or shorter? Clearly the most likely winner.

See trainer stats.

All it can be is talk from the stables. According to a UK trackman Mafaaz looks fit.

I like Shampagne. Paired 10s on the synth and Cole is good off a layoff. 9-1.

He finished 3rd and went off 20-1. He almost stole the race.

On course trackman said Close Alliance looked like a very nice colt but probably needed the race.
