The Fla Derby weekend was very solid. They broke it up a bit, which I think is better than holding all the big races on one day. The Fri, Sat and Sun stakes races, combined with fine supporting races on Sat and Sun, were surely stronger than what Aqu is giving us. A few late injuries hurt the 3 yr old filly race, but the racing was excellent. Frank\'s SA Derby card is also very solid.
The truth is, the industry as a whole has done a fine job in giving racing fans solid race cards during very difficult times. They also get high marks for streaming the races right to our living rooms and offering very simple wagering platforms.
