I believe good horses don\'t bounce often. But isn\'t Charitable Man a candidate..

Any thoughts on the big jump?

We have to think about the big number he ran in the Peter Pan as an improvement from the 2 year old numbers.  Bounces aren\'t usually measured against the last race but the previous top.  That\'s my take anyway.

Good luck.

Congaree,

Covelj is 100% correct.

You certainly cannot measure the \"jump\" from his polycrap race to his Peter Pan.  It has to be measured from his well established 2 year old top.  A 2 year old son of Lemon Drop Kid that can run a 3 relatively early in his 2 year old season, can certainly run a 0 as a 3 year old.  It is 3 points of development, whereas the AVERAGE Lemon Drop Kid offspring develop 4 points from 2 to 3.

it is not a \"big jump up\", He ran the 3 in August of 2008.  The poly race is a throwout,so you don\'t factor it in at all.

He gets 4 weeks.

Not only is he likely to pair up at a minimum, but a new top is not unreasonable.
