Filly and Mare Sprint

Has anybody seen or heard any insight as to how Sara Louise is getting over the syn surface?
Back to back -2s with a 10 - 1 morning line sure looks tempting. With a defending champ and a filly who has never been beaten on a syn surface you can be sure she will probably be all of that. She looks more appealing than her stable mate at 5 -1 who has run zeros and also never been over a syn surface.

fwiw,here\'s an excerpt from an article written by Jay Hovdey in the DRF.

\"All of them have either trained or raced on synthetics,\" Mettee noted, \"either here, or in Dubai, or the Keeneland training track, or even the Greentree training track in Saratoga. It\'s been Sara Louise, Midshipman, and Gayego who really seems to bounce over this particular surface.\"

The M/L I\'m looking at has Sara Louise at 9/2.  Not bad, but not 10-1.  HP

The original M/L (at pre entry time) was 10 - 1 but after the final entries and post positions drawn a final M/L of 9 - 2 was published.

I think given the strength of the top two we may get a little better than that but I also think that the exotic pools will provide value to beat one or both of the top two.

I have this race on my PASS list.  I agree with you that Sara Louise should be better than 9/2 (not positive with all the sheet guys out there...), since I think Informed Decision and Seventh Street will take money.  But between Sara Louise and Ventura I\'m not seeing much value here, even in the exotics.

Sekrah the combination of betting your own money on other peoples selections coupled with calling a multiple graded winner a pig..........does not bode well for your future return on investment.  Just my opinion.  BBB

I stuck with PASS but I wouldn\'t see anything wrong with betting Sara Louise at 5-1 there.  I\'ve made worse bets...often!  Good luck tmw.  HP
