Christine Daae has a huge shot in the KY Oaks

Anyone who missed the 6th at GP today needs to go back and watch the replay.

This is freakishly bred horse who won first time today going 1 1/8th in a hand ride.

I posted on Friday that I would have pounded her in the Davona Dale on Sat but the snake man scratched her out of the one turn race in favor of the 1 1/8th.

She ran a moster number last out and though I have no idea what kind of fig she ran today, she ran well enough for me to believe the 0 didn\'t destroy her and she was given just enough time before this one as well.

One more prep for the Oaks, I would imagine and then potentially back to her \"0\" on Oaks day.

Live for the Oaks?  How about the Derby with numbers like that.

well, might be tough for her to get enough earnings to get in just running against the fillies (ala Eight Belles) so she would have to run in one of the big preps against the boys first in her next start and that\'s too much to ask for a filly\'s first stakes race.

Would be great to see another big filly dominate the Oaks though and create some buzz.

I saw the race but needed to watch the replay to appreciate it (I was focused on another horse). The track bias was probably around 15 (just a guess), but she came home in under 151. My point is that absent any adjustments for the trip, which was pretty clean, she\'s moving plenty flast for a hand ride--especially if the bias was around 15 that day.

I will investigate the Oaks Future line in the one pool unless someone knows where the Wynn is right now on her.
