Nakatani ride on Dublin
« on: March 13, 2010, 07:00:41 PM »
I don\'t like losing (who does?) but when my horse runs very wide and then moves probably too soon, it makes it worse. They gave the mount to Nakatani because??  Great call on LAL and Noble\'s Promise for those of you who had them.

I\'m looking at bigger fish to fry.

This horse is progressing picture perfect toward KY. After running 4-5 wide the whole racetrack, he had every right to tire down the lane. We all know he ran the fastest race (counting ground loss) and (presumably) made a forward move from the Southwest.

I\'ll be looking for another slight forward move in the ARK Derby and he\'ll be locked n\' loaded for KY.

That\'s a positive spin on it!

I am a little disheartened, but you seem to have the big picture on this horse, so I will be watching him to see if this was just a stage in his development.

Thanks,

Leamas

Nakatani was never the most popular guy around So Cal, maybe he was race riding with Gomez and cost his horse. Seemed like a premature move to get Gomez in a bit of trouble. Just a guess....
