Question for the board on the Florida Derby Horses

We should see tonight what kind of numbers JB gave Ice Box, Pleasant Prince and Rule for the Fla Derby when the Derby futures package comes out.

Question is if Ice Box and Pleasant Prince were somewhere in the \"0\" range (just a guess, not a prediction), is the 6 weeks before the Derby enough for us to think that those 2 could pair up in the Derby (another move forward is highly unlikely I think in any case).

Both horses ran big new tops in the race clearly, just wondering with the extra few weeks if we think that helps prevent them from bouncing in the Derby?

It\'ll be interesting to see what the numbers are. If PP is in the 2-3 range, I\'d be willing to give him a long look in the Derby provided he has a decent post. The 4-5 point jump would be my only concern.

Based on the \"gallop\" out I think Ice Box is maxed out at a 1 1/8. I say \"gallop\" out because he basically shut all the way down to near walking with the majority of the field passing him.
