Beyer 104 for SS(TG neg -1/2 if JB agrees)maybe a little generous.Did the entire day and made the winner Beyer 99 stretching(TG 1 1/4)

Last half in 53.87 pathetic,despite fast early pace,final time 2.04.45 ugly.Conditions bad, mulligans for brutal trips/ground loss in order for quite a few.

Very stiff wind in front stretch would of negatively affected the final time in a race with nearly two full runs on the front stretch.  Especially the final 4 furlongs.   You can see flag in the middle of the infield blow very briskly as the camera follows the field on the backstretch.

It was a pretty deep mud as well.  Not as sloppy as I thought it might be,.

I caught in the coverage where they said the harrowed the track during the break in the rain because they said the \"wind would dry the track out\".  they also said scores of trainers had complained that they had done that.  Seems like an incredibly stupid move when you know more rain is coming on the radar, drying it out for 30 min aint gonna do jack when it starts raining again.
