ROTW - Kent Stakes

I agree that Working for Hops is the most likely winner, 3-1 seems accurate in terms of his chances.  Would consider a win bet at 7-2 or better.

Interactif is an underlay at 2-1.  Pattern is not great and carrying high weight....that said, tough to not include in exotics.  Would be much easier to toss if it wasn\'t a Pletcher trainee.  Pletcher didn\'t become PLETCHER by shipping stakes horses that run poorly.

See value in Lentenor and They Call Me Giant to fill out the exacta/tri.

May try exactas with WfH and the two value horses and hope Interactif doesn\'t improve off last.

Any thought\'s?

Agree.

Tough to completely toss Thunder Brew at a price underneath. Analysis summed him up but if he somehow runs his good number he can certainly help the tri/super.

I would have agreed that Lentenor was good value in here until factoring in that Michael Matz was the trainer.

Matz is a nice man, and a man of integrity. However, he\'s not a good trainer. Kept the money in my pocket as I look to take my bankroll to Belmont next week to bet against Blame and Fly Down with both fists.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Jblefior,  Betting against Blame is certainly a gutsy, super contrarian wager.  I will be curious to see who you are considering, as the nominations do give several alternatives.  Tricky Dicky has Rail Trip training gangbusters and we all know what he can do and the horse is rested.
